Unknown threat actors gained unauthorized access to ConnectWise application identities, including ConnectWise Cloud Backup (formerly SkyKick), and used them to compromise customer Microsoft 365 tenants. ConnectWise has disabled seven application identities and published their IDs. Customers and MSPs should review their tenants for these application identities and investigate related sign-in activity.
